- Referral Fee Amount: 25% of the gross commission earned
- Calculation Method: Calculated prior to any split between the real estate agent and their broker
- Applicable Transactions: Any successfully closed and qualified real estate transaction resulting from a referral
This ensures fairness and consistency across all transactions.
What Qualifies as a Referral
A referral is defined as any renter, buyer, or seller introduced by American Homes Online Realty Inc. through:
- Name
- Phone number
- Email address
- Physical address
- Any written or electronic communication
Extended Referral Coverage
Referrals also include:
- Family members of the original client
- Friends or associates connected to the original referral
This ensures protection of the referral relationship and proper compensation for introduced business.
Payment Terms
The referral fee is due under the following conditions:
- Payment Timing: At Close of Escrow (COE)
- Trigger Event: Upon successful closing of a transaction involving a referred client
- Payment Responsibility: The recipient agent and/or their brokerage
Failure to remit the referral fee at closing may result in enforcement actions as permitted by law.
Agent Responsibilities
By accepting a referral from American Homes Online Realty Inc., the recipient agent agrees to:
- Provide professional and ethical representation to the referred client
- Maintain consistent communication with both the client and referring party
- Notify American Homes Online Realty Inc. of transaction progress
- Ensure timely payment of the agreed referral fee
